Terry Wall & The Wallbangers
Terry Wall & The Wallbangers were formed in Memphis Tn. in 1996. They are a mix of classic rock, blues ,country & rhythm & blues & swamp rock or what many are calling “Americana”. They have performed all over Memphis & the mid south including Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas , Illinois & a short tour of Japan as backup band for legendary Don Nix.
They have released 4 CDs of original material available for sale at all the popular sites on line. Much of their music can be heard on YouTube. Terry Wall is the leader and writer of most of their material & has cowritten & produced with Don Nix on 3 of their CDs & on Don’s last his last studio CD. Terry has worked with many as a studio guitarist & writer. He has worked with & learned the ins & outs of record making with many in Memphis music scene including Roland Janes, Don Nix & more recently with Travis Wammack in Muscle Shoals where they cut their most recent CD. The other members are Artie Wilson on bass. He has played with a lot of note worthy Memphis musicians & was with Black Oak Arkansas for about a six year run. Artie & Terry are lifelong friends going back to grade school. Next is Charlie Carrington on drums. Charlie is also from Memphis & has played with most everyone at one time or another including Interstate 55 & Larry Rasberry & Highsteppers, Target & many many more. And last but not least Alan Wyse keyboards another fine Memphis musician formerly of Funk Deville & Touc.
